Hering Son Of Hussa

Hering son of Hussa (late 6th century, century-early 7th) was a prince Bernicia. He was the son of Hussa, King of Bernicia from 585 to 592/593. After the death of Hussa, went to the United Æthelfrith, cousin of Hering. During the first half of the reign of Æthelfrith Hering fled to Dalriada where he found refuge with their King Aedan mac Dalriada. In 603 Hering conducted a part of an army to attack Dalriadan Bernicia, but was defeated by Æthelfrith Degsastan, the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle (E manuscript, year 603) mentions the involvement of Hering, although Bede does not. Hering ultimate fate was unknown.
